Making a Purchase

Please feel free to browse our shop and select the items you wish to purchase.

After placing the order, you will receive a confirmation via email. If there is any problem with your order with regards to stock availability, you will be contacted within 2 working days (this is a very rare occurrence). Otherwise, your order will be shipped as normal in accordance with the processing and shipping guidelines.

We accept payment on all major credit and debit cards via PayPal.

By placing an order with us, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, please contact us at [email protected]

Prices and availability of products are subject to change without any notice.

Customised orders accepted - please get in touch , either email at [email protected], on the Contact us page, or through the chat button.

Processing and shipping

Non-personalised ribbons - despatched within 2 working days (within 5 working days in November and December) and sent first class, so should arrive within 3-4 working days (up to 10 days in November and December) 

Gifts / Personalised Wrapping Paper / Banners. These are handmade so will be despatched within the time frame specified on the front page, and sent first class, so should arrive within 4 - 5 working days of placing the order. Please note, at busy times, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, etc, despatching times may increase. This will be displayed on the website.

All UK orders are sent first class and delivery is usually within 1-2 working days of despatch. However, in adverse weather conditions and around Christmas this can affect the delivery dates. Please contact us should you need your order sooner.

International Orders. We ship internationally via Royal Mail. Please allow up to 2- 3 weeks from ordering, for your item/s to arrive.

Returns, Exchange & Cancellations

We recognise that people change their mind after an order is placed and we are happy to wait for 6 working hours after your order is placed to accept a cancellation, even if the order is personalised. After this time, there is a chance that your order has been started.

We have set a time scale of up to 14 days after you receive the item to let us know of your intention to cancel.

We do ask the following of you, should this be the case:

1.Please inform us that you would like to return an item. You can find all details on the contact us page, or you can email [email protected]. You should do this within 14 days of receiving the product.

2. Return the item within 14 days of telling us of your intention to return.

3. Obtain proof of postage from the post office.

UNFORTUNATELY, THESE OPTIONS ABOVE ARE NOT AVAILABLE IF YOUR ITEM IS PERSONALISED WITH A NAME OR HAS CUSTOM WORDING.

The customer is responsible for the cost of return postage. All other initial costs will be refunded within 14 days of Mommy Knows Best receiving the item.

Defective items.
If, for any reason, you are disappointed, please get in touch with us. We are very approachable.

We will ask you the following:

1.  Get in touch with us via any of the ways on the contact page.

2.  Send a photograph of the fault or the error.

3. Return the item within 14 days of telling us you would like to return it.

4. Obtain proof of postage.

Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding the above returns policy and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Once I have assessed the condition of the returned goods I will contact you with details of the refund/exchange.

If the goods are not returned in a satisfactory condition, a deduction may be made to the refund. Refunds will not be given if the goods have been used. I will always contact you to let you know about a reduction or refusal and the reason for it before the refund is or is not issued. Please be aware that you will not receive a refund for the return shipping costs or any customs fees which have been paid unless the item is deemed faulty. Please bear this in mind when making your order and double check all order details.

Your exchanged goods will be sent out as soon as possible, once your original goods have been returned.

Conformity of Goods

We take every care to ensure that the descriptions of our products are correct at the time of going to press. Whilst the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsivity for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.
